Terry joined the PVBC team in June of 2021 after 12 years of teaching science at Garden Valley Collegiate. Terry and Jill have been involved in camp ministry since 2010 and are very excited about the next chapter here at Pembina Valley. They have four kids Hazel, Luna, Quin and Sophie. Terry loves God, has a heart for campers of all ages and loves spending time in God's creation. He also enjoys basketball, music and mountain biking with his family.

James joined the PVBC team in October of 2022 along with his wife, Brandi, and two kids, Bear and Violet. James and Brandi love and believe in the impact of camp ministry and are excited to get to be a part of that at PVBC. They bring many years of camp experience with them from their times at Winkler Bible Camp, Camp Qwanoes and Gospel Light Bible Camp. James also enjoys music, sports, hiking with his wife and playing games with his kids.

Jill has a passion for summer camp and brings a wealth of experience to the PVBC team. After a decade of Directing Gospel Light Bible Camp alongside her husband, Terry, Jill and her family moved to PVBC in 2021.

Colby Thiessen
Head Of Maintenance

Colby has been our Head of Maintenance since the beginning of 2020. He has a love for God, and in his spare time, Colby enjoys snowmobiling, board games and foosball.

Jessica Siemens

Jessica is our administrator and has been involved at PVBC since 2020. She loves God and has a heart for seeing others grow in their faith. In her spare time she enjoys taking care of her plants, crocheting and playing golf.

Atia Neufeld
Head Wrangler

Atia has been involved on and off at PVBC since 2018 and started as the Head Wrangler in 2024. She has a great excitement for ministry, people, horses and ice cream.

Maya Losch
Assistant Wrangler

Maya has been involved with PVBC since the summer of 2019. Maya has a passion for serving God, and enjoys riding horses, hiking, snowboarding, and hanging out with good friends.

Brandi Shiels
Kitchen Coordinator

Brandi is no stragner to camp ministry. She began her camp ministry at Winkler Bible Camp as a cabin leader and later returned to WBC as a cook. She also served at Gospel Light Bible Camp and Camp Qwanoes in various roles before eventually moving to PVBC in the fall of 2022. Brandi is passionate about serving great food whether it's at summer camp, events, rentals or hosting friends. Brandi enjoys spending time with her family, interior design, hockey and shopping at Winners.

Declan Winter
Intern

Declan is part of the Valley Intern Program and has been involved with PVBC since 2017. Declan leads the backcountry program areas including Outdoor Ed, Wilderness, Advanced Wilderness and Survivor. During his down time he enjoys baking, coffee, foraging, being alone, and reading.

Jolee Friesen
Intern

Jolee is part of the Valley Intern Program and has been involved at PVBC since 2019. She has a heart for youth ministry, and other interests include reading, mid-century fashion, and climbing. During the spring and summer seasons, she leads the climbing programs at PVBC.

Lacey Toews
Intern

Lacey is part of the Valley Intern Program and has been involved at PVBC since 2022. She enjoys adventure, spontaneity, friends and the outdoors.
