Chris came to camp in April and has experienced a fulfilling first summer with the PVBC team. Chris and Audrey have four children Alexx, Skylar, Bentley and Kaelan. Chris’ interests are volunteering with the youth in his home church at the Plum Coulee Bergthaler, hunting and spending time with his family camping.
He is an outdoor enthusiast, and particularly loves canoeing and whitewater kayaking. Him and his wife are involved in a local youth group and love serving as worship leaders. Sam Loves Jesus, and loves to serve him in any way he can.
Meet Mikaela. She’s been involved in camp since 2009 and gets to work with her husband Sam. The two of them love serving at their local church by leading worship and helping out with youth nights. Mikaela enjoys taking pictures, baking and playing music. She likes to eat breakfast for supper and can also speak Spanish!
Amos is part of the spring staff team this spring. In the role of the Program Director. He has been involved at camp since 2014. He volunteers at a local Youth For Christ. In his free time, Amos enjoys hiking and hanging out with friends.
Ainslee Warkentin is the Administrator and Horsemanship Manager. She has been involved in camp ministry since 2009. She enjoys horseback riding, board games, pickles, and volunteering at the local YFC. She spends her time riding horses and teaching kids how to ride horses.
Our goal is to gain relationships with campers in a well-balanced program of recreation, camping instruction, and Bible teaching, carried out by committed Christian staff. Thus the camp focuses on the spiritual, physical, social and educational development of the camper through strategic avenues.
